Al-Hadara University in Yemen participated in the second poetry competition and festival for university students, as well as a football tournament organized by the Sector of Educational Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and coinciding with the anniversary of the martyr.
The university secured second place in the folk poetry championship, which was won by student Al-Anoud Abdullah Taiman.
In conclusion, the Minister of Higher Education, Mr. Hussein Ali Hazeb, emphasized the importance of linking all events and activities to the religious identity and the central cause of the nation, Palestine, in order to raise awareness among university students and academics.
The minister congratulated the winners of the second poetry competition, which aimed to support and promote the Al-Aqsa cause and highlight the heroic and resistance role of the Palestinian people, as well as commemorate the anniversary of the martyr.
Minister Hazeb commended the competition, the participants, and the organizing and judging committees, which included prominent Yemeni poets and critics such as Fuad Al-Muhanbi, Mohammed Al-Adini, and Nabil Al-Qanis.
The closing ceremony featured poetic performances by the participants in the festival, followed by honoring the winners.
