Upon successful completion of an undergraduate
dentistry program, the graduates will be able to:
First, general characteristics:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of basic and
biomedical sciences and their application in pharmacy (NARS).
2. Demonstrate a sound understanding of a
substantial body of knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences (NARS).
3. Apply current Good Manufacturing
Practices (cGMP) criteria in formulating and preparing pharmaceutical
/cosmetic products from different sources (including raw materials) and
contribute to the distribution and storage system (NARS).
4. Utilize analysis methods (qualitative and
quantitative) in testing raw materials and pharmaceutical products (NARS).
5. Deal safely and effectively with chemicals,
natural materials and pharmaceutical products and participate in optimizing
medicine use (NARS).
6. Practice and perform responsibilities and
authorities ethically, legally, professionally and respect patients’ rights
(NARS).
7. Educate patients and members of health
care team in the rationale use of medicines based on updated drug information
(NARS).
8. Apply evidence-based decision-making
skills and research in solving problems related to the profession of pharmacy
(NARS).
9. Demonstrate effective communication, leadership,
marketing and business management skills (NARS).
10. Plan, design, conduct, and participate in
research to improve healthcare system performance (NARS).
11. Apply self-dependence, life-long and
collaborative learning skills in updating their knowledge (NARS).
12. Graduates will be able to understand the
doctor’s diagnosis, dispense necessary prescriptions, and also be able to
discover errors in the prescriptions presented or proposed with the ability
to explain information related to them and make the necessary decisions.
13. Graduates will be able to conduct
experiments, conduct necessary pharmaceutical calculations, and prepare
pharmaceutical prescriptions.
14. Graduates will be able to establish and
manage private pharmaceutical projects that could be a private pharmacy, drug
store, or world-class pharmaceutical factories.
15. Graduates will have sufficient scientific
knowledge and practical experience in all disciplines and topics of pharmacy
to enable them to complete their educational career in any higher specialization
they desire in international and prestigious universities.
16. Graduates will be able to work in the
government sector in all its fields, including hospitals and health centers,
drug control and drug inspection.
17. Graduates will be able to use books, references
and electronic resources in addition to using technology to conduct research
and draw conclusions related to all pharmaceutical, medical and
pharmaceutical fields, whatever their field of work.
18. Graduates will be able to work in
educational institutions that require sufficient medical and pharmacy
knowledge.
19. The graduate of the College of Pharmacy will
have a strong leadership personality and perseverance, capable of
self-expression, integration and production under work pressure and ensuring
continuity in success and development.
20. Graduates will be able to work as drug
sales representatives and advise physicians on advanced drugs.
21. Graduates will be able to work in
pharmaceutical laboratories or factories that conduct drug production and
development research to test the effects of various drugs and treatments on
the human body.
22. Graduates will be able to establish and
manage private pharmaceutical projects that may be a private pharmacy or drug
store.
